A little about me......
My love of furniture inspires what I do.
Have you ever been in someone's home and found yourself
admiring a particular piece of furniture? While gazing at the piece
were you compelled to rub the finish? Could you hardly resist
opening a drawer to look at the inside details?
If this sounds familiar....then we're alike.
I began making furniture primarily for my own home. Along the
way, I've been fortunate in receiving guidance and instruction from
some notable furniture makers including Michael McDunn and
Lonnie Bird. My leisurely pursuit has now evolved into a career
path.
As a former corporate financial executive, I've found significant
gratification working in a peaceful shop environment where the
predominant sounds are that of mallets tapping and planes
scraping. To build a piece of furniture that a family will enjoy for
generations is very rewarding.....
